The tenth East Wing exhibition, organised entirely by Courtauld students and exhibited in the Institute itself, opens in January 2012.
We want you to be clued up about the artists beside whose artworks you will be taking seminars and surrounded by every day for the 18 month duration of the exhibition. All students should be a part of East Wing X, whether you are in the committee or not, which is why we ask you to follow, like, comment and get involved online...
As History of Art students, we don't often get a chance like this to experience the practical side of art, so please do take advantage and make your views known about our choices. We look forward to seeing you at the public opening!
The Business of Art Society was founded in 2005 by students at the Institute; our mission is to offer members insight to various business aspects of the art world. Our previous guest speakers have included Simon Thurley (English Heritage), Alice Farren-Bradley (Art Loss Register), and Anna Harnden (British Museum) and trips to Sotheby’s and Christie’s

The Courtauld Literature Society aims to be an inclusive and expansive forum for the discussion of all aspects of literature . We have chosen the texts for the first few sessions but after that everything is open to suggestion. The format of the evenings will vary and some weeks we will be looking at 2 texts + and it will take on a comparative feel. There will also be opportunities for members to present some of their own work/works in progress and we will be asking other writers to come in and address the group.
